A church wedding in the Hunter Valley

I met Onika last year and when she asked me if I would officiate her wedding in the lovely All Saints chapel I was delighted. This church venue was by far one of the loveliest I have had the honour to officiate in.

This unique property is in the rural village of Woodville in the Hunter Valley just outside Maitland. It has a reception area on a deck attached to the hall, the perfect all in one wedding destination.

The Gothic Revival church is heritage listed and was officially opened in 1864, it features impressive arched and leadlight windows following its restoration work in 1922, the Hall associated with the church was constructed in the 1890s and is of architectural interest.

It was a unique wedding venue for me to perform this civil ceremony. Afterwords friends and family partied with a live link up to South Africa so that family from overseas could join in the celebrations.
