Scottish Weekender and Ceildh in the Valley

Last weekend I joined Mary Kiani and friends for a fantastic Scottish festival gathering in the stunning Glenworth Valley (Darkinjung country).

There were Scots, English, Aussies, old friends and new friends who came along for a weekend of Scottish fare, fun and flings,

We served up delicious food on Friday with traditional Scottish black pudding, haggis and fish suppers. Then award winning Scottish chef KAREN McPHERSON (The Turnberry Hotel Ayrshire) prepared and delivered the best ‘BURNS SUPPER’ on the Saturday night. A fully charged ‘Ceilidh’ Live band and caller kept us dancing till after 10pm. There were Pipes and Drums and of course live vocals by Mary and Patricia Kerr. This was the first event and there is already much excitement about what next year will bring. How about we have a wedding too?
