Small weddings are back on Friday 3rd Sept (but no receptions yet!)

Writer: Shona ToughShona Tough

Weddings in New South Wales will be permitted from next week, but with a maximum of only five guests.

The COVID-19 lockdown ban on gatherings has effectively halted weddings, but from 12:01am on Friday, September 3, residents can get married with a group of up to five guests. You are also allowed to have the celebrant conducting the wedding, as well as a photographer. These numbers would not be included in the five guests.

If you are thinking about getting married we have to prepare a Notice Of Intended Marriage one full month before the date so please contact me now if you are thinking of having a small wedding and we can start to get the paperwork organised.

The NSW Premier has advised that businesses and industry needed to prepare for a 70 percent vaccination level throughout the state before we can start to see restrictions lift further.

Please note I have COVID safety plan, including QR code check-ins. Check out my 5 star reviews on google and facebook, no matter how big or small your wedding I am here to help.
