As we move through 2025 the start of the Spring wedding season is almost upon us. So what are the new trends in the industry? Weddings continue to evolve, reflecting the unique personalities and values of couples. Here are some of the current trends that we are seeing in the industry and how I can assist you.
1. Personalized Ceremonies
Couples are moving away from traditional scripts and opting for personalized vows and rituals that reflect their love story. I always help craft unique narratives that resonate with the couple's life and love so far!

2. Sustainability Focus
Eco-friendly weddings are gaining momentum. From sustainable venues to zero-waste catering, couples are conscious of their environmental impact. I am huge fan of embracing themes of nature and sustainability. My favourite ceremonies are the simplest ones usually in an outdoor setting.
3. Micro Weddings
Intimate gatherings have become popular, with couples choosing to celebrate with close family and friends. This trend allows for more meaningful connections and personalized experiences. I adapt ceremonies to fit smaller settings including backyard ceremonies while still maintaining a sense of grandeur. This year I am officiating a festival wedding at the famous "skyline" at Dashville.
4. Cultural Fusion
Many couples are blending traditions from their respective backgrounds, creating a rich tapestry of cultural elements. I have lots of idea how you can integrate traditions into the ceremony, making it a true reflection of the couple's identities. Scottish hand fasting is one of the most popular! This year I have 2 couples who have requested this as part of their ceremony.
5. Interactive Elements
From guest participation in vow renewals ,to live polling for music choices, interactive elements are on the rise. I always suggest ways to include guests in unique ways, making the ceremony a collective experience.

6. Technology Integration
Virtual attendance and live streaming are now standard, allowing loved ones who can't attend in person to participate. I am always prepared to incorporate technology seamlessly into the ceremony. I speak a little bit of Spanish and I had two ceremonies recently where I welcomed overseas guests from Colombia and Brazil.
My goal is to enhance every ceremony and resonate deeply with couples. Ultimately I strive to create memorable experiences that reflect the love and commitment of each couple.
