I am lucky that my job takes me to some amazing parts of the country and in April this year I was asked to officiate at the Kangaroo Valley bush retreat for Hugh and Peadar. Well I was not disappointed, not only did they have a "weekend" wedding (yes it was more than a day!) but they added some unique touches to the day. An Indigenous smoking ceremony opened the proceedings and we had Scottish rituals including Drinking from the quaich and a hand fasting. This was one of my favourite weddings of 2023 and I am delighted to be able to share a link to the special day so you can see the magic of the "rock cathedral" for yourself............and there was no sign of Fred Flintstone!!
